We just received our letter from the USCIS stating that they received our documents and are processing them. We should get our fingerprinting appointment in a week, and then we're looking at about 4 weeks after that for our approval. Now is the time to start applying for our VISA.
Other good news...Jake was just hired full-time at a job he really wanted!!! Hurray!!!! More details to follow once everything is in writing, finalized, and he's ready to start!!!! It will be a good change for our family! And they said it wouldn't be a problem for him to take 2 weeks to go pick up our baby girl! Congrats, Jake!
